P.S. : K1+DFA*70-200 wide open, definitely loving image rendering, but auto-focus was a struggle... following the "advice" of beholder, I believe he doesn't tell how many keepers he got, not so many I suppose.
After using AF.C with the best settings and seeing so many were out of focus, I gave up and decided to give the normhead method a try (i.e using AFS with frequently re-initiating AFS by pressing shutter button many times, I actually got a little more keepers.

I know, it was totally campy brain-candy for kids that would rot your frontal lobe... but I can't help having fond memories of the watching a B&W 19" tube TV, with **Creature Feature on the UHF band. And if that doesn't date me, nothing will!

**Only to be out-done later by Creature DOUBLE Feature, w/ Dr Paul Bearer...

Nicely done Sir. That first shot is a tough one to get. Green Herons are common in our area, but are shy & I've never been able to get a good shot of one.

Very kind! No, although I had the tripod with me for the falls, this one is a totally handheld effort. It's a 3 shot pano, but by the look of the original frames I actually moved after the second shot. Did my best to fix it :/ This is what happens when your travelling pal is getting bored and you are rushing!

I appreciate the comment very much!

It's a great lens and worth it IMO but not necessarily necessary for this shot! I was actually wishing I had brought the Rokinon 14 to go just a little wider!

Looks like I will have to see if I its possible (now that I am retired) to save up enough funds to purchase a 15-30 lens. Very nice picture.
