B&H Santa brought me the D FA 150-450 this year.
Yesterday was my first chance to use it to capture the Moon.
The results were very nice.

I made it back to the ice tonight. I had a little more time and nice mild temperatures.
I wanted something to put in front of the flash to diffuse and hide it. I found this nice ice chunk and pushed it out to the bubbles. It had some mass and it slid beautifully, making me think of curling.
Standing it up without any visible stuff took a little engineering with some ice shims and a little saliva to stick it together. Seemed to work out ok.

The Augustusburg Palace at Cologne, Germany.

Taken with the FA31/1.8 Limited on my K-1, and cropped in post to provide some visual balance.

Perfect lighting at the time of our visit, and a very photogenic subject.

Nicely done. +10 for some imagination to create an image.
