It has been a while since I found the time to get some photos with the beloved K1. This of a female Red-backed Fairy-wren this afternoon, with Sigma 500 f4.5 APO DG EX and 1.4x TC.

A hair stylist and make up artist who happen to be friends of mine wanted to expand their portfolio.

Since I was on an unstable ladder in crappy weather (gusts of random wind and rain clouds looming overhead) I decided to slap on the 77 instead of my trusty 85 since I thought it would give me a little more leeway for the composition and so I wouldn't have to get too high on the ladder. The bokeh isn't quite as smooth or as pleasing to my eye as the 85 but still a nice rendering that I am happy with.
