Frederic, your recent posted shots are really good, my favorite is the greenfinch "bubbles and Bokeh", I think even old Rupert would have liked that one. Only problem is when you post right after LeRolls it is a little difficult to view other photos with an objective mind.
Hattifnatt, love the sunset at Bucharest and the shots at Circus Park, very nice.
LeRolls, you sure come into the new year in a super style.
AZGMDale, excellent photos, love the beaver shot.
teiki arii, fantastic stitched photo, your friend should really love that, I certainly love it.
mattb123, awesome New Year's Eve photo, makes me wish I had been there.
AdrianM, beautiful fairy-wren shot
Best Regards, Bob

It was only -11º C, if the salt will melt the ice on the roads, we're going out. At home in Whitney it's been hovering around -30, -40ºC with the wind chill. Did you know at -40, Fahrenheit and Celsius are the same?

That's actually really interesting to see you shoot similar subject matter with a different lens. It's still LeRolls as we know it, but definitely different, now I can see how important the 85 is to your work flow and style.
Well I did use to shoot a lot with the 77 before getting the 85. Mostly on the K-3 and K-01. I am interested to see if Pentax ever ends up releasing that new 85. I wonder how it would compare to the old one.

It's actually really helpful to see even a single shot of the 77 in your hands, I can see why the 85 is the preferred. It helps people like me who have neither make their minds up about future purchases

Very sad news on the forum home page. If you normally just bookmark straight to this thread you may have missed it. Our friend Rupert (James) has passed.
Drop by the home page and pay your respects if you are so inclined. I for one am more saddened than I thought possible from the passing of a forum friend. He was a genuine person, quirks and all, and thats what I think made people like him so much. He will be missed.

No, i did not know that! I guess when it gets that cold, measurement is irrelevant

You should try Caffenol CLCS for your Tri-X
