I was gonna ask if this was Brenizer or not, glad to see my hunch was right. Was it shot completely wide at the f1.8? How many shots did it take? With regards to the group, is the actual group of people just one shot, or are they too 'panoramered' (made up of several shots).

Great shot!

Thanks.
I think it was at f2 or f2.8 to avoid CA and get a bit better DOF to "cover over" the subjects.

I tend to do a "lazy" version of Brenizer where the first frame is a tight crop of all the subjects (in case I leave out some part of the person ), so its not as extreme an effect compared to ones where the subjects need multiple frames.
I think it was about 15-20 shots.

Great opposing bike shots, talk about nailing the focus on the Focus. I had to laugh, because that looks like the newer version of my Cayo... that reminds me, I need to get back on that thing next warm day.
You got a Cayo, Eric? Nice!

Yes, I got a steal on her used..typical seller who bought and never used it...but I have to admit, what I really wanted was the Specialized Roubaix. I test drove one at the LBS and it was a super comfortable dream ride... I felt like I could go for days on that thing. The Cayo is close, can't complain, especially for the price.

I wish I could come up with a way to bike with the K1 and not feel the weight... sure wish Ricoh rumor about a full frame GR was true, heh heh.

That is a stunning image, as if you needed to be told. Really enjoy your low-light/night photography. Not my thing, nevertheless I wish I had taken every one.

Nice portraits, and that sigma is silly sharp

Eric

Thanks, Eric. It's poor man's alternative to FA*85, but I really like it.

The sharpness that i have been chasing for years! Both lenses are very hard to find, so for sale in Japan, just have never purchased an expensive item from Japan.
