I really like the Tamron 70-200 F2.8 on my K1. The lens performs great and you can really drill in on the images from the K1.

Eric, Irix thingie..., nice Bits& bobs, thanks for the moss. I am curious regarding the validity of "probably"...
BruceBanner, good shots of the choppers, glad they came to your rescue.
Jean Poitier, nice Judo shots, some girls learn technique quickly and use it real well.
Frederic, lovin those Topaz effects.
Pen-A, nice interior shots.
pschlute, Rio is awesome, nice photo.
HoustonBob, nice Dojo shots, a tenth Dan...WOW. What discipline ?
gaweidert, that Tamron sure performs for you, nice
pastorbbc, nice series, that light house in itself could provide some good images with different POV's, like that.
Best Regards, Bob

Wonderful pics and great use of the 24-70/2.8 that doesn't receive much love!
Thank you. Why do you think this way about the 24-70? seems to me a lot of people are using it.

Eglinton Canal after sunset (Galway, Ireland).

I’m using it too! I like it, but it lacks sharpness on the corners and I have to crop a bit my landscapes to have uniform results (stopped down of course). I think that it’s not a 24-70/2.8 in the high level of the latest generation of the competition and I also feel that the DFA 15-30/2.8 receives more love from Pentaxians. Anyway, it is an essential lens for the K-1 and pics like yours show its potential. Great caption this of Eglinton canal too! Congrats!
