Incredible rendition, both shots looks great but the second one is absolutly gorgeous! Snow is really looking great (WB is perfect) and gives a nice feel to the image.
Thank you!

My kitten is taking over the right side my desk. I'm waiting for the colder months for him to migrate to the thermal efficiency nightmare 300w Class A amp on the left side of my desk.

You may find he prefers your lap. When she was older Mycelium found her way to my lap with 30 seconds after I sat at my desk - every time. Annabelle takes longer, maybe 3~4 minutes, but there she is on the floor, talking to me about the fact that I'm too close to the knee-hole for her to jump up and start soaking up my cast-off calories.

Nice group, but that last shot with the Sigma is a really great cover shot for a travel mag. Wow!

Great shots, these colors are really talking to me...and the last shot would be a great print!

Was talking about the lens, because that's my go to Lens so far.
Im thinkin about buying the 28-105 by reading peoples reviews and images but Im skeptical of the 28mm wide, it might be a big difference from the 24mm Im using quiet often.

*****
Still in my 50mm mood since I bought the smc F 50mm /f1.7 a couple days ago.
This one is a hand held 5 Shots pano, taken in landscapes mode, from top to bottom.

I started with the top picture, focusing on the building on the background, then each sequential shots were focused closer up to the last shot focused on the branch in the foreground.
I have been using Lr for this one but I tried On1 Panorama and it worked great as well.
(PF resized the Pano so IQ is not great here.)
Thank you, you are too kind!!!

I hear similar things about the DFA28-105mm being a real winner with some pixie dust of it's own... 4mm is a big difference at the wide end for interior shots... but outdoors, I dunno, it might just mean taking a couple of steps one way or the other.

I still think your 50 1.7 is killer! Nice new pic posted as well.
Eric

Very good choice for a monochrome version! Collioure has been on my list of places to visit in France, for a while now.

My local B&M store had a "Sony Studio" day where a "Sony Ambassador" set up a one light studio and explained her technique ... I went to hands-on test an Alpha 7 or 7ii ... since a Sony Rep was there, too, with a lot of goodies like an Alpha 9 and Zeiss glass.

I took the K-1 and rapidly snapped a couple with the 77/1.8 of the young girl who was the model. First image is the K-1 at 100 ISO in front of a constant light soft box. And for fun, the second image is with an APS-C Sony Nex 5 + a Minolta MD 50/1.2 @ about f/4.

I took the MD 50/1.2 and its adapter to try it out on a full frame Alpha (7ii) and to be truthful I was not that impressed ... also tried the same Alpha 7ii with a G 24-70/2.8 and maybe it was me, but I found it to be pretty mediocre.

My interest in a Sony Alpha took a big dent today ... I am still quite convinced that I am quite good in Pentax.
