WOW!!! So many really fantastic photos posted by folks in the past couple of weeks. Took me several evenings of enjoyable viewing to get caught up. Been a wee bit busy with winter projects: making copies of old prints for one friend; making copies of old maps for another friend; making walking sticks & canes for some folks; maple syrup season started. Will be posting some pictures soon of the maple syrup stuff & some shots of the sticks.
Eric, your Soligor 20mm photos are crazy awesome, love the bokeh & the incredible sharp detail, nice work mister. I guess you be giving the Irix thingy a rest.
Frederic, your flower shots lately are simply super superb, and all your other shots are pretty darn nice as always.
LeRolls, Have to tell you Chris that the Flower Swing photo is my very favorite of all the terrific photos that you have posted: very beautiful girl and a very beautiful composition.
Here is a picture that a butterfly sent me, said they are on their way, ETA 11 to 12 weeks.

Thanks Bob! Some lenses you just click with (no pun intended) and the Soligor and I got along like old friends right off the bat. The Irix Thingy is awaiting in next turn in the hot seat. I plan on spending some quality time with it soon, to get better acquainted.

Yes you were missed, I for one was hoping you weren't snowed in without a shovel or something. Hey, you aren't related to the Maple Syrup King, Tyler Vernon? (OK SciFi is a thing for me, mostly vintage, but some of this new stuff is great too)

Nice two-fer on the butterflies. Bizarre coincidence or just photo life on forums, but my next set features them, and some in multiples as well. Being a little south of you, we get a head start on them.

Wow! That first shot with the A50mm 1.7 is so delicate on the colors, yet so sharp on the resolution, great bokeh. Nice!
