Reminds me of angel wings for some reason...

I know 1/2000th of a sec seems silly***, but these guys are fast, and they drop onto a flower for a split second and are gone again.

***A comment on shutter speed and sharpness... I am beginning to think a LOT of lenses get inconsistent end user reviews, especially on the long end of a zoom for example, that may have a lot more to do with motion blur, even with IBIS, that I had previously believed. Using what I used to think of as "silly" shutter speeds with the DA*300 has been a real eye opening experience when it comes to sharpness. Allowing to let the ISO roam up a bit is really not an issue. I know I have hinted at this a little before, but it really is hitting home for me and I felt it worth mentioning again with respects to sharpness and shake, not just grain.

Thanks. And I agree, the finch pic has that 3D quality because of the transition from sharp focus with good DOF to the nice bokeh. That's a shot that should be printed.

Cheers. It's a long exposure shot of a light on a piece of string. Made into a complex pendulum 👍👍

Might be straight forward, but they are fine fine shots.

Well thank you. Southern Utah is a place where a blind person wearing boxing gloves could take dazzling scenics with a shirt-pocket P&S

Both great, but second one really appeals to me) Seems like it could be a frame from Hayao Miyazaki's film

Don't usually shoot wild life (well, since it was taken in a city, not sure how wild this fella is), but he was posing for so long, I couldn't resist)
