It's a pity you are showing such small resolution for awesome views.

Wonderful images matt. Three of my efforts at imaging Utah. No picture quite communicates what it's like to be at one of these places.

***A comment on shutter speed and sharpness... I am beginning to think a LOT of lenses get inconsistent end user reviews, especially on the long end of a zoom for example, that may have a lot more to do with motion blur, even with IBIS, that I had previously believed. Using what I used to think of as "silly" shutter speeds with the DA*300 has been a real eye opening experience when it comes to sharpness. Allowing to let the ISO roam up a bit is really not an issue. I know I have hinted at this a little before, but it really is hitting home for me and I felt it worth mentioning again with respects to sharpness and shake, not just grain.
Hi Eric,
these shots are pure miracle as focus tracking is so bad on K-1! Bravo.

***It might be worth mentioning, that this flutterby session I have been posting the last several days, is all from only one morning outing, just in case anyone was wondering if these were cherry picked from many spray and pray sessions. There were only maybe a dozen flutterby's active in the garden, and it was more like waiting for them to come to me, not chasing them, chasing does NOT work in my experience. From a distance, watch and find a plant they like, then approach slowly to shooting distance and stay still near it, they will come back.

Thankyou Teiki! Yes, K-1 seems to do just fine with a little practice and forethought. See my comments above.

Very nice. I'll bet these look wonderful at full resolution. The Moab area is a photographers wonderland. Need to get back there soon.

Nice job. Especially like the in flight shots. Nice lighting and very well processed.

Love the little Model B Farmall which goes back to the 1940s. It was the first tractor to appear on Vernon land after Grandpa Vernon gave up farming with teams of mules right after WW II.
