Got the new DFA 70-200 to replace my F70-210, just because of the wider aperture.
But that oldschool F lens is really really good..
It seems to freeze up movemet really well too. nice shot.

I don't think I've ever taking a non accidental high key shot.

I like pictures taken in fog and yours is no exception. I generally find that the camera's meter underexposes in foggy scenes. There is a lot of soft diffused light and little contrast and this often fools the meter. A bit of +ve compensation is often required.
Thanks! You're right, that is most probably why the "correctly" exposed shots didn't do it for me.

Topsy, For me it has a very soft yet haunting appearance, I like it.
Yes, that's exactly what it's got to me too. The slightly haunting appearance is why I quite like fog!

Sorry for the late reply, I had a fairly bad head cold the past week. All good again now.

Here, have a photo I dug out today for my website.

Shot last June:

Tried to add a bit of story in the description, if anyone is interested in 30s indycars!

I like how the second image, "Sitting on Seashells" seems less posed.

Yeah it was a paid shoot. She isn't a model like the others so didn't really know how to pose even with direction. Wasn't sure if I should post it since I already know it probably won't be as popular as my other work. I mostly like the smile and the framing of the shot.

Great work Chris! The first shot has that dreamy airbrushed look of magazines of yesteryear, really like it.
The second shot is certainly playful and is a nice moment. Well done.

I wish you hadn't posted those from Pilanesberg! Now I "need" the 150-450 and the 560

Some seriously good pictures you have there. Well done!

By my calculations this is page 1k = 0x400 = 0b10000000000

So here are some celebratory images:
HD Pentax-D FA* 70-200mm F2.8 ED DC AW: Pixel shift used, but I don't think it did much

Channelling Rondec: HD Pentax-D FA 15-30mm F2.8 ED SDM WR

SMC Pentax-A 15mm F3.5: Pixel shift used here, more effective. Straightened up a bit in RawTherapee

SMC Pentax-M 85mm F2: my favourite old lens, one of the main reasons I got a K-1
