After watching the sunrise on this awesome spring morning I noticed several birds looking for food just about 20 feet from the front porch. So I sat awhile & took some shots. Only needed to take 1 for the Robin but took 26 for Miss Rufus. Those things would not stop moving around and changing directions. Had fun till my hands got cold & tired of holding up that sweet lens.
Best Regards, Bob
Wow, really like the barn with startburst! The robin looks great and well fed too. (or fluffed up trying to stay warm, heh)

What a great shot of an amazing location. Everything is so new here in the states by comparison.

Tas, thank you for the kind comment. After several days of snow & wind that sun looked wonderful.
rondoudou87, those shots are absolutely amazing, very nice work.
LeRolls, you are out of control, your photos are becoming unbelievable. Even during the day you inspire sweet dreams...
Frederic, is that one of Saturn's moons... Now that you mention it, I have felt a wee bit possessed lately...
Eric, thank you and the temperature was only 20 but that sun sure felt good. For 15 days in a row now we have been boiling sap to make maple syrup. It has been an unbelievable season, so far made 21 gallons of syrup. My one nephew just went down to Naples for a week. Had I known he was going I would have given him a quart or two for him to drop off for you. Funny thing is that I have already given away 4 gallons & family has kept 9 gallons. It is a mighty big bunch of syrup but family & friends love it. Oh, and so do I... We have never considered to sale it, do it just for fun to get outside at the end of winter, hear & watch the geese fly over, watch many migratory birds and sometimes see the beautiful winter sky.
Best Regards, Bob

Yesterday was Poitiers' annual photo swap meet and I picked up a couple of Cactus Speedlight Pro Kit accessories for 20€ ... a honeycomb adapter and a beauty dish type adapter as well ... here some quick tests with a single Interfit EXD400 studio light.

K-1 with the 77/1.8 and B&W via Lr4 ... Charlotte as my faithful model.

For the fun of it, some un-scientific comparisons

Irix Thingy

Irix Thingy ƒ/5.0 15.0 mm 1/40 ISO800

VS / SMC M 35mm F2.8 lens

Pentax SMC M Lens 35.0 mm 1/80 ISO800

Pentax SMC M Lens 35.0 mm 1/40 ISO800

And one original color version for fun
