Perfectly executed down to the exposure, colours and tones.

Damn... I like that shot a lot. I must have a fetish for girls waistlines, I oddly? think it's their most attractive part (is there such a thing as a 'waist guy'? lol). Love the bokeh colour and tones backdrop that just complete the shot. Interesting pose that might normally have come across awkward, but here it looks authentic, credit to both you and your model no doubt.

So this is as close as I got to the image I conceived when sitting at my computer planning my trip on the ephemeris. I took the wrong lens which is annoying as I had two long options that would have worked and at the most important time I got distracted by clouds behind me and missed what I was after. Of course in the end it was the people on the pier who gave me the subject matter and this is the best pose I got out of any of them.

Eric, I rarely agreed with my wife. Guess that's why we are no longer together... But I do agree with yours, the second shot does it for me.
Frederic, OK, I like that pie. It is a bit different from mine, so I will have to try that this summer. Nice swamp shot with that Irix.
acoufap, your Two Beauties are that for sure.
Tas, really like that pier shot, very nice.
SirTomster, that first shot is pretty cool.
Best Regards, Bob

I'm not sure what you mean, but yesterday I captured 14 images in landscape orientation and joined them together as a pano. Normally I'd shoot in portrait orientation but I decided not to do that as the middle section of the pier may not have been sufficiently different enough for the stitch to work. The original is just under 31,000 pixels wide so in the spirit of being a smarty pants I was wondering if this is landscape panorama enough?

haha, little misunderstanding here Tas, due to my english language limits for sure !
In fact I was asking if, in the initial pic with the sun, the peer and the people, you tried a different framing, ie, landscape orientation maybe in 16/9 or something more in the usual panorama format.

Ah, I see. Considering you are okay with more than one language, and according to most people who know me I'm not real good at the one I know I think it's safe to say I contributed to the misunderstanding.

I captured about 25-30 images that were variations of composition and exposure of this scene the majority of which were captured in landscape orientation. My mistake was not having the longer lens to get more of the scene so even with a 16:9 crop it's a lot of water though that does give me a leading line.I'll find one and process it to post in the next couple of days.

It is interesting how we are drawn to certain parts of the body. For me it tends to be person specific as I am always looking to showcase or bring out whatever that person's strong suits are which can sometimes be difficult as some people's qualities are not always easily conveyed.

As always, I appreciate the kind words.
