X-Posted from the 24-70mm Thread.

While scouting for a Sunset location, I found this spot that I plan to shoot soon if time permits.
This boat was really long, in the picture you can't see that third piece of the boat at the very front.
I didnt realise this guy wanted to take a U-Turn because I thought it was not possible, until he did it, super fast and like a breeze !

Processed with ON1 for a change.

Excellent work, we don't see this enough.

I was reading about shutter speeds the other day, it's quite incredible how far down you can go with the K-1 handheld to get this kinda effect, it's really nice to have. Anyway, bravo... it's still tricky to manage.

This is the image I have that really makes me appreciate Pentax's shake reduction.

DimC, nice location you have chosen, the city back drop with the neat bridge design. Mighty tall smoke stacks, keeps the exhaust pretty high.
Rondec, even at f14 not much DOF, really like that blossom shot. Very joyful photo of Victoria.
acoufap, very nice macros.
Eric
, a sponge farm shot, cool. A very unusual subject shot with a nice perspective. I am drinking my wine so it does look a wee bit fuzzy...
Frederic, 3 birds per skewer, nice snack... BTW, you own way too many flash attachments, you need to donate one to me...
BorisKolo, your first photo of the solo boat is superb.
JosQ, nice work, BruceBanner made a most appropriate comment & I agree with him.
timw4mail, some time ago when you posted that shot I was impressed with the results, good camera & a good shot by you.
kengo, awesome sunrise shot.
Thanks to all those that gave a LIKE to my last posted photo. When I took that shot I really liked the results, but I never imagined that so many here would also like it.
Best Regards, Bob

I went to photograph a motocross race event today.

Unfortunately I drove an hour and a half to the wrong town so this is the only racing motorcycle shot I got.

The D-FA 24-70.

I'd love to do the same, have to be more active in Instagram maybe to find models !? For now, my models are... well... less sexy (and I may eat one of them someday).

One technical question though : do you reduce purple and green fringing in post ? Otherwise that lens would perform so much better than my Sigma 85mm f1:4 HSM. I find the fringing quite enormous in this image. Is this something I should expect ? And would the Pentax FA 85 perform better ?

I do it in post. Normally more recent lenses tend to have less fringing... You will have to wait for the curved sensors to have zero fringing
