Very impressive photos posted by folks again, plenty of great subjects & talent.
Last week I went to the rendezvous. On the first day took photos with the 150-450 lens attempting to acquire some good candid shots. To my surprise many people spotted me with that big lens pointed at them, have to learn to hide better. On the 3rd day shot mostly with the 24-70 and found it a bit easier to be discrete. When doing the post processing I realized that I should have shot more open to produce some bokeh which would have produced better isolation of the subjects. It has been quite some time since I did this type of photography, so I wrote myself a mental note for the future & stuck that in my camera bag. Anyhoo, here is a start of some shots, will post more & hope not to bore folks.
1st, a soldiers memorial life size.
2nd, the fine young lady that did that sculpture.
3rd, perhaps a life size yeti...
4th & 5th, plenty of dogs came to check out the wood & the crowd.
Best Regards, Bob
