A few flowers from our spring garden.

KIT: K-1 with Tokina AT-X 90mm f 2.5 macro. Nicknamed the Bokina, this is one of the great macro lenses which has kept me so far from investing in the more modern Pentax-D FA 100mm f 2.8 macro. The Tokina 90mm operates as a Pentax-A lens and curiously exhibits f 2.4 on the K-1 display rather than its labelled f 2.5.

NOTE: The first flowers shown are obviously NOT from our spring garden, but are rather the product of my wife's artificial flower arranging hobby.

All I know of this rounded blades, is that they killed the fantastic flare and stars of the SMC DA 15...

A few shots from the lawn. My wife hates the violets in the lawn, but I love them. They remind me of my grandfather's house all those years ago. The dandelion is another case. Whoever thought that bringing them to the Americas from Europe was a good idea should have been hanged, drawn and quartered. The trillium are in my neighbors back yard. Shot using my K1-II and a Rokinon 100mm f2.8 macro lens.

some time ago I had IR converted compact. K5 is still waiting for conversion. But I've tried to get similar effect by C1 selective color

. Case was simple so I think it look similar
