And may I say, that it did not go unnoticed that you took that amazing pink flower with the DA 560mm!!! Wow, how high up was that flower from where you were standing?
Great pics as always, that Tamron 90mm continues to impress.
Eric
Thank you Eric ! I was only at 2 meters (I must confess that I've tried the Kenko extension tube to overcome the 5.6 meters limit)
I love really the first one, reminds me the Soligor 20mm...

It's spring here so what can you do but make photos in the garden.

From a low PoV and with a little bit of off camera flash... the Pentax-A 100mm f4 macro doesn't look too shabby.

I love your church images Jean. I have the K version of that lens. It’s a real treat. I don’t normally employ the contrast filters when shooting digital - what are your thoughts?

Another Super Takumar 35mm F2.0 sample

35.0 mm f2.0 1/3200 iso100

Stopped down, it does a decent imitation brick wall test, heh.

35.0 mm f8-11 ? 1/320 iso100

I hope that is a solid brass extension tube, not one of those plastic jobs holding your 560mm! Still, amazing output.
Yeah, I had to chuckle that my good old Tak I owned for years had similar output to the Soligor. I hadn't used it much wide open, and never got to see much bubbly bokeh on film.
Digital really has us spoiled in the amount it allows us to experiment with instant results. When I first got a DSLR, I thought "gee, it's like having my Polaroid back on my plate film camera again" and then after actually using the DSLR a bit, I thought "oh hell no, it is way better than that!".
