Rondec, thank you, feel really lucky to have that setting with the warbler singing. That is one of my favorite shots of the year.

Eric, love those bubbles.
Frederic, nice woodpecker shot.
repaap, It is MHO that your photos definitely do not need strong PP. Quite often that has a negative effect on the quality and the message conveyed by the image.

Best Regards, Bob

Subtlety is the key IMHO. Lovely flower images here mate.I appreciate the soft tones and the complimentary colours.
thanks, I’d love to be better in PP still.

yes, some training is needed to make it work better and not over do it. here are some great examples at forums.

Thank you all for your "likes"...
I like very much this picture for the feeling, the sense to emerge from it. I do like the relationship between a father and his son in this shot.

From a low PoV and with a little bit of off camera flash... the Pentax-A 100mm f4 macro doesn't look too shabby.
Nice picture, nice lens, nice colors...

Hello BruceBanner,
thank you for your kind words. K-1 is a fantastic camera, I agree. Updating it to K-1 II in few days...
I like your Brenizer shot and your automn colors too. Bravo.

@Tas,
nice capture.

@repaap,
nice bokeh on flowers. Superb Elicar, I didn't know this gem.

@Kerrowdown,
I like very much your pictures of dogs. Nice process.

Pentax 24-70mm @/f5.6 bokeh sample, colors were nice on that late afternoon.

The Héron shot is heavily cropped, taken @200mm in APSC mode.

Thanks Bobby! I've been on a bubble & bokeh kick lately... the bubble part is all Frederic's fault, he got me hooked way back when with his 20mm Soligor, LOL!
The fun thing is, you can go subtle, or go crazy with the effect, once you figure out how to "provoke" the bubble effect from a lens.

Nice colors with this astonishing lens. Bravo.
Thank you Teiki!
The hilarious part is, I've had this lens for many years. I always reached for the Super Tak 50 1.4 or 28mm 3.5 and never really gave this lens a fair shake on my Spotmatic.
It now has discovered a new life on K-1.

Gabby, (page #1082) was absolutely thrilled with the framed 11X17 of her picture. She was showing it to customers and pointing at me. A couple of the girls took shots of her holding the picture with their cellphones. Its really nice when a photograph goes over well.
