First day of shots from Jervis Bay over the weekend;

SuperResolution (hdr) Shot

This is the view from our friends veranda at Jervis Bay. Not a bad sight to wake up to every morning.

Good Friends

Laughs & Smiles

Too Cold!

Tatum experiencing Winter on the beach!

Sunnies Selfie

My son lost his shades somewhere on the beach, so I offered to go back and have a look for them, found them exactly like this, they were screaming for a selfie shot (and I couldn't resist)!

Miss A

A pure 'capture the moment' shot.

The Game
I especially like the last pictures.

Tired of fighting with computron tonight. Form hosted for me.
I wish I had taken more time to frame this shot. I do like the glass bobbles a lot.
Since we are trying to pad post count, should we stop grouping photos in posts for now?
These are awesome photos everyone. Dang!

Thanks Dave, I was referring to the shadows. Some folks would not except that, but for me the shadow is part of real nature.

Would like to say something to you: we are all snappers of some version and a happy snapper is the best in my opinion. For sure I am also a happy snapper and as for my photos, they are what they are. Please join us and post some shots on a thread or two, then I can be a happy viewer which I assume you are. The goal for me is to enjoy it all, and this forum with the variety of members makes it so much more enjoyable.

Best Regards, Bob

Taken in the Scottish region of Assynt. I spotted this tree on the Friday when we were driving to our campsite and knew that on the way home on Sunday, I would want to photograph it. It was beside a busy road and there were no stopping places. I got my wife to quickly pull over and drop me off and told her to drive back in 30 minutes to collect me, the pressure was now on!

I knew what I wanted, with the changeable cloud, I was hoping for the light to illuminate only the tree from the rest of the landscape. I found a composition I liked, setup on the tripod and it was simply a case of hoping the tree illuminated within the next 30 minutes! Much to my surprise, after only about 10 minutes I got exactly what I wanted.

It's so great to have an image in your minds-eye and for it to actually come to fruition.

Thank you for looking.
Simon, may I ask you what lens did you use on your last 2 shots displayed in this thread ?
They both looks fantastic, lighting and composition are great and you achieve amazing colors in PP as well.
Very well done.
