Thank you very much, both photos were taken on the 28-105, a truly fantastic lens, more than I could have ever hoped for, if only it was 24-105, it would be the perfect lens.

The photo of Bowfiddle Rock was shot at 28mm and the photo of the tree was at 88mm.

I've spent an awful lot of time over the last year refining my PP and learning all about colour theory and different processing techniques. I'm glad it is finally being noticed by people.

Thank you.
Wow, another fine example of what this lens can produce !
It's been a few month Im looking forward buying this lens for traveling, but I think Ill miss the 24mm from my 24-70mm too much.
Well done on your PP, it's very well balanced,

Hi Bruce
But what a view.
You can always go down at high tide so there's less sand..

Simon - Thank you for leaving some deeper shadows in your images. Too many photogs open up the shadows too much rendering the image a flat boring mess. I appreciate your post-processing vision. - Jack

It's interesting you noticed this, this is something I learnt some time ago, I always compared my photos to those of my idols and wondered why the light in their photos always seemed so magical and stand-out so much. Keeping shadows dark really puts the focus and emphasis on the lighter parts of the image like you mentioned, thus preventing it from looking flat and boring.

Thank you for the comment.

Very nice photos. I especially like the '67 Chevy...reminds me of the '67 Impala used in the TV show, Supernatural. BTW, two of the '67 Impala used for that show, one has a 327 cubic inch V8, the other has the 427 cubic inch (7 liter) Chevy V8..which I would think would be an exciting ride.

Another of your pix that I Iike is the Volvo 122...or in Europe known as the Amazon. I had a '62 PV544.

All in all some well composed photos.

Where is the car show ? Sweden ?

No offense to anyone else posting on this thread, but we're trying to make that last almost 2,000 posts, and I really, really wish that LeRolls would dig into his archives and post a few score of his images, one at a time to help the total, and to be savored.
