It's a fine image and testament to the cropping ability of the K1
The rather old-design Tamron isn't too shabby either. I think it is at least two major lens re-configurings back from the the most recent incarnation of their 70~200mm f2.8, and a near steal for $550 new.

I assume that lovely little girl is your daughter. I raised my daughter and son with my MX and I was just thinking how lucky you are to be doing it with the magical K-1.

... Loved this series Bruce, I sure didnt get tired of it... if you find more, bring'em on! It looks like lack of AF was a non issue. The 85mm shots look super! That starry sunset(?) looks really neat too.
Eric
Thanks Eric. For every good shot with the 85mm there are 5 crap ones lol, it's certainly a difficult beast to tame! Thanks for the kind words

The girl featured the most indeed is my daughter, she's my main willing model so I tend to get the opportunity to shoot her more often than my son (who is more than likely glued to his Playstation 4!).

I'm trying to have a go at making a modest supplementary income as a photographer, but I always tell myself that even if not much comes of that I will still have something truly special and worthwhile, priceless even which is the photos of my kids as they grow up. It is definitely my fall back mentality when times are tough and I question how much I have spent on gear!

Yet once again, another time, to repeat myself, a place in Utah. Must be a my K1's natural habitat. That I could deal with.

Thank you

Gave the K-1II the weekend off, but never regretted taking K-1 even with shots like this - both are great cameras
