I did find some subjects other than scenery during our Utah trip, but not very many.

Hehe, I love this series, it's exactly what I would do to, travel miles for an awesum shot of nature... and instead shoot her

Ok away from the beach and back to the mountains

Cataract Falls

Mind Your Head

Federal Falls

Brenizer Branch

30 shots stitched here.

Some nice work there, showcasing the K-1 as well as your eye, nicely – they look even better on Flickr, leading me to wonder why.

Thanks Rob!

I dunno why things look better on flickr, I tend to share i think it's 1600x900 here, maybe that is counter-productive res for this forum? (tho on my screen it always looks fine on review). Perhaps flickr shows the work with a higher PPI within it's window frame? Or maybe the black background is better

Here's Geoff and John everyone, say hi to Geoff and John!

Well, you may go out with a subject in mind, but you cannot ignore an opportunity that lands in your lap (I wish)

Well, I had some room on that memory card and had to photograph something. And now I'm scrounging to do my part to reach 55,000 this month, so you'll have to endure some pretty dull images.

Even areas between the parks and monuments in Utah are scenic, although this may be within the Bear's Ears or Grand Escalante boundaries, or were when we visited.

Very beautiful photo. I really like the frame and the atmosphere of tranquility it conveys...
