My favourite kind of sunset, when the sun finally breaks through the cloud before it sets for the day, projecting out magnificent shafts of light against a moody sky.

That is really stunning. Love the way the foreground rock is dimly lit but also has some sunset color on the far side. Definitely a moment at a place that's worth capturing and sharing.

Something completely different, not from Utah. I think I'll do some trivial adjustment on this image and x-post it on the bokeh thread

Yet it stayed in the bag since I bought the 150-450

Hi Timautin. I'd be interested in hearing why you reach for the 150-450 ahead of the 300F4? The 300 with 1.4x provides similar reach and is quite a bit lighter. When do you use the 300 instead of the 150-450? Thanks

Excellent milaber.

The evening of Monday 2nd July '18 saw Murray's Glenbrook Cellars promote a whisky tasting night with host Ross Blainey of William Grant & Son's.
Many fables and tales were told whilst we sampled the evenings single malt delights. A good time had by all.

The Menu

Where's Everyone Else's?

Say When...

Nibbles

<sniff sniff>

Balvenie 12yr Doublewood, Ross's 'go to' whisky.

Glencairn Whisky Glass

Personally not my favourite glass to drink a whisky from, but the unique shape is supposed to create the best balance between funnelling the aromas but not overwhelming so.

Doublewood 17yr

I think this was still in Kentucky rather than a bit north in Ohio.
