Frederic, your style of series is always a delight to view. A flower; landscape; a green back red caped woodpecker; and architecture, a satisfying mix not unlike your meals...
Best Regards, Bob
Thank you Bob ! Your lilies are fantastic !

I think many of us have ignored what can be done with a 50mm lens, because we’ve all got used to having the flexibility of a zoom covering that FL, but I suspect the sheer IQ of the forthcoming D FA50/1.4 will make some of us think again.

Nice work, too, BTW.

longbow, that series is a fantastic capture, very nice work. Tell your wife that I am grateful to her for having you get that lens... Did you use AFC or simply spot and multiple frames ?

And by the way, when I get the time I will find Osprey that provide a closer proximity for my shooting.
Best Regards, Bob
Have already thanked her many times

Used AFC, SEL-2 (or S) & Single Frame Mode

I carried the K-1, 28-105, Rokinon 14 2.8 and DA*200 about 11 clicks yesterday, and even took a few pictures.

Rokinon 14mm

Eric, it is totally amazing the amount of beauty in that one wing & your photo captured the color & detail. Photographs can be good in many different respects. By my standards both of those first 2 shots are real good. From the creatures to the clouds, nature has so very much to offer...like you said, never gets boring.
Best Regards, Bob
Thanks Bobby, you're too kind! Fortunately nature provides plenty of excellent subjects for us to record and helps make us look like we know what we are doing.

I'm going to go add AC/DC Thunderstruck to my morning play list in tribute.
Well done!

This one is my fave of the set Frederic, great shot of the little guy. Cool variant on the species from what I have here too.
Was this handheld?
