Fascinating! But the soil there is much deeper red. There are places in the USA that have soil with color akin to that, but generally not in the desert southwest SFAIK. One place that pops into mind is Hawaii, especially Kauai, where they make the somewhat famous "dirty T-shirts."
The red soil in the southeastern US is pretty close.

Yeah well Bucharest is not really such a beautiful city (except maybe for the Old Town) so many times clouds and sunset are my subjects... I take what I can. I would rather live in a more rural area.

A few shots from London yesterday. Beautiful sunset, I had the time to go out and shoot some pics near Chelsea.

First test of the big stopper + CPL + GND on the Irix 15mm. Getting a bit of vignetting and serious flares on the edge of the filters shooting into the Sun but getting away with a little crop.
Next time I'll see if I get more usable information not shooting into the Sun.

Well, maybe in some parts, but other parts would be obscured if you hadn't pushed it a bit because there is so much DR there... personally, I like "cooked" once in a while... Sushi gets old if that's all you ever eat.
Very nice set of pix and you make that 24-70 look good.

Reminds me of stage lighting, I like it and the wide / low crop perspective too.
