First couple shoot I've attempted so far, was a nice experience! Mat and Amanda were very easy to work with. K-1 & Tamron 70-200, AF 540 flash in a 47" softbox.

A couple of urban shots for me, taken with the HD DA 35/2.8 Macro on the K-1, mainly assessing how it controls streetlights/starbursts, as predicted lacks start bursts but nonetheless renders them very pleasing.

yes, very much. Not been able to venture out with it yet but initial impressions are:

The sharpness wide open is staggering.

the bokeh is smooth and the oof highlights are lovely.

The weight and size is less than I was expecting. Sure it is bigger than any other "normal" 50 produced by Pentax but it is not a monster.
