I'm very happy with mine for wildlife and birding. The high iso capability opens up dawn and dusk for shooting.

I would debate the armchair part, but it has been quite an experience watching & photographing them......have learned a lot doing both

Was driving home, and saw this gorgeous sunset. Luckily had my camera with me, with the DFA 28-105 attached.
I just pulled off the highway, so didn't want to set the tripod and attract too much attention. So just took hand held panorama. Worked out fine

Carolina Pinelandcress and Whorled Milkweed

K-1 35mm macro.

1st photo with a tripod and a "plamp", because the plant is endangered so I wanted a decent photo.

2nd photo handheld in the breeze, because there was a butterfly.
