Nicely done. Is that one of those old hit and miss engines that were used on farms ?
Yes, they have a nice working display of different old farm related engines at the Western Idaho Fair every year.

Yes, this. (And also on Flickr zooming in it's by far not as sharp as the uploaded original.)
Compression upon compression. I imagine most people aren’t viewing images from closeup on 27” monitors, though. Nonetheless, colour contrast still looks better on Flickr. I would hope that paying for Pro status on Flickr might gain some advantage with IQ, but I suspect not.

Your ghost is quite ghostly. Is it possible to bring up the color of the ghost without being overwhelmed by Gamma Cassiopeia?
Thanks.

Over on the other site, SmugMug, the biggest size is X3 Low Res. Before we had X1-3, and then Original. Apparently not any more.

I will reprocess and try it. This was a total of 10 minutes processing time spent, so I know I can do far better.

Hmm, I did mean to indicate that your ghost was nicely ghostly as is. But I was just wondering if there was more color available from your subs.

Very nice for 10 minutes PP, though.

Two sheets of plastic make the window of an airliner, one or both scratched = a formula for poor IQ

Originally planned as blending two or three exposures, but it turns out one single exposure worked out better.
Pixelshift, DFA 15-30 @ f/8 and 13 seconds.

Somehow the flickr compression seems to degrade the sharpness quite a lot.
Hi Sbh

Looks like a painting

Very nice

I had considered SmugMug at one stage, but Flickr seemed a good option at the time, and now even better, it seems. Just how long this will go on, though, is anyone's guess.
