Pentax K-1* - SMCP-FA77mm f/1.8 limited - ISO 100 1/250th @ f/2.8 - 2X Godox AD360 with gridded Elinchrom 70cm BD.

*The line you see between the stems appears to be a defect in my K1-'s sensor, good thing I have a backup.

Bruce, you have really taken a shine to that 85mm, and thanks for sharing how you are doing those flash shots.
Really pro looking work, nice!

Thanks Eric, some HD DA 35/2.8 Macro shots are in that set as well! Spread the love

Excellent.

the defect looks like a single line of pixels. Could it be possible to somehow set up a script or something to erase that entire row of pixels, seems like a plausible workaround that would be easier than messing in post to try and hide it, I doubt a single like of pixels missing would be very noticeable?

Ok, I recently acquired a Lensbaby Velvet56/1.6, you can see some test shots over here, but I'll leave them out in this thread and just give the results;

Ok, and now some SMC Pentax-A 24/2.8 shots;

Sailing boats mirrored on the flat water. Shot with K1 in MILC mode with ES enabled, lens DFA24-70. Please note the complex light travel from the sun to the camera sensor.
