Thanks. I'll have to admit that I'm not fully satisfied with the images. Exposure on the star part of the image was too long (3 minutes), the stars are streaking away from the center, and the foreground could have used longer exposure (also three minutes). But it's a work in progress. Next time I'll have a better idea of what to do.

Might be a Jefferson's salamander*. At least in my area they are not at all common.
