A public speaking event I cover (this past weekend) allowed me to properly try out the FA77 for the first time;
(a little help here with a cactus rf60x and a magboob

But I also got to flex the old Takumar (Bayonet) 135/2.5!
Bruce your point regarding lens selection is well made and taken to heart. Not long ago I purchased that old 645 A 120/4 macro to have fun with, and indeed I have. It is a task to manual focus but that is part of the fun. Besides I don't really do that much macro & the 24-70 and the 150-450 work pretty good. So actually the 100 macro is a weak dream.
Last week I put my old Takumar(bayonet) 135/2.5 lens in the car, intending to get out and shoot with a lens that I loved shooting with back in my early film days. As I read your post on lens duplication I thought of that lens in particular...and now you shocked me with your next post showing the excellent rendering by it. I have to get out of this "stuck in the farm work mode" and get out there shooting again. Now that I think about it, perhaps I do not really need the 77, except for the auto focus. Photography certainly is an awesome part of life to enjoy...thank you for the response & comments.
Best Regards, Bob
