Wot a smiling Highlander father figure... who just happens to take the odd wee photo from time to time.

Hey this is just down the road a wee bit from me, great shot.
Thanks Kerrowdown! Such a smashing part of the world, I definitely need to explore a little further east in the future. My usual trips tend to be more along the west coast routes.

I was a bit lazy with this shot and noticed a couple of mistakes once I’d done it (a blurry shot got into the stack!). But glad you liked it. It’s an amazing place, need to get back there again, I’m not sure I really nailed it last time despite taking a lot of shots!

Ah, we may be coming closer to what the problem is, your so called "Highlander father smile" may come across more like a schizophrenic grin.

(Without really knowing what it looks like, but is sounds funny enough.)

Tara, K-1, DA*55 (a wonderful lens if you don't quite have the moolah right now for the DFA*50 'Fat Fifty'):

Aye... we Scots have finally mastered to copy the Bersecker look, first brought to our shores by our Viking cousins.

High Key, High Hair, Street Portrait

One of the few " Street" shots, where I asked permission upfront to take it, his great reply was... "knock yourself out" as in help yersel, as we say around here.

Perhaps this is why, it was so easy to find an empty bench...
