Little Red Riding Hood

K1 and Tamron 70-200mm
In keeping with the Halloween spirit I was able the catch Little Red Riding Hood's encounter with the Big Bad Wolf - as can been seen in the photos the Big Bad Wolf could only partake in the charade for so long.

Wonderful series of Little Red Riding Hood meeting the big, bad wolf...dressed as granny. Looks like the 'wolf's ' vision must be 20/20 as he shook off his reading glasses quite quickly !

You show here the weird 'doughnut' specular highlights can be avoided with a correct choice of backgrounds.
Thanks, yes there's definitely more to mirror lenses than the doughnut bokeh, it's good fun to have the compression & reach in such a compact lens. The depth of field is shallow too so gives an in interesting look with stitched photos...

Round the bends

Wow, plenty of good photos posted by folks in the last month. Finally starting to get out a wee bit with the optics. Here is my humble contribution for October:

country road and tracks in the country.
Best Regards, Bob

Scrolling through that combination gave the illusion of a sudden change of the built stuff. Nicely paired.

Well it's about time... I was just about to send out a search party and a St Bernard with the little keg around his neck to look for you.
Glad to see you posting again, cool back-country pics.

Tighter crop of a photo I've posted before, this time take with Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro. With pixelshift, it might be too sharp of a combo lol.

November shots in the rain

November fall color drew me into the rain this morning with an interesting kit. I love using the older 645-A lenses on the K-1.

KIT: K-1 with very sharp Pentax-A 645 35mm f 3.5.
