Here's a few from last weeks camping trip to El Golfo, Mexico. It's just two and a half hours from home.

Some great photos.

That first one...with the Chevy Colorado pickup truck...looks like it could be an advertisement for the truck...it's really a fine, well composed, well lit photograph. Very impressive photo.

You take amazing photographs with the Pentax K1, mainly attributed to going on location and your know-how. I don't think the other brand will improve on that, I never seen this happens to others who switched brands, even there are countless switchers who have dropped photography completely after switching to another brand.

Hi Tim and LeRolls: I am humbled.

I bought myself a used A7r3, primarily due to the limited lens selection on the newer k mount offerings. The lenses I lusted for were the Sigma arts. I just ordered the 20mm f1.4 and 135mm f1.8 and with eye AF even an amateur like me might get a few portraits in focus. I admire guys who can work magic with older classic lens... I am horrible at it.

I already miss the top dials on the K1.

Tim I sometimes post on Fb under the account name anahemlightcapture.
Just to let you know that you will be missed. You have a way of capturing beauty in different locations that is amazing. I hope that down the road Pentax comes out with some gear that brings you back, but either way, Good luck!

Thanks, Les. The dynamic range of the K1 really makes that shot possible as it's all natural lighting.

You will be missed very much! Enjoy the Sony and who knows, maybe we'll see you back in Pentax-land again one day (or we will see you in Sony-land!)
