This is tightly cropped from original...

HD PENTAX-D FA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6ED DC AW ƒ/7.1 450.0 mm 1/1250 iso1000

This is slightly less cropped, but still cropped from the original. Looking at the "Negative Space" competition this month, I began to wonder if I should crop as tightly as above, or more like this? I just feel like all that nice detail is lost on the wider view... maybe it all depends on the image intent, but it's hard to have the best of both worlds without viewing the uncropped image at like 60" on my TV or something, heh.

That is some insane bokeh to be lost in, love it. Also love the bird and the landscape shots. In Eric's world TV means "Tator Viewing"
Best Regards, Bob

Really like the second shot. You should move north. We have a lot less up here ................................................ at the moment.

Aye it's a grand way to work and it's fast too, something you just don't get with amateurs and with that I mean no disrespect.

It's click the shutter, model moves, click the shutter model moves and so on... all with minimal photographer direction, as they know what you need instinctively.

2 light set up in the basement
No lights used here, just natural light in a heavily shaded wood, hence the high ISO of 1250 for this image.
