The K-1ii seems to do ok at -26 F, at least for a half hour or so.
Nice snowy sunny landscapes. Usually it's not so much an issue to move a K1 from indoors to outdoor by cold temperatures, the more tricky thing is when staying for a long time in the cold and then bringing back the camera inside causing water condensation.

That's a wonderful image. Love the layering of mountains. One suggestion: make it more of a panoramic by bringing down the top edge until those dark clouds along the top of the frame end about midway to 2/3 across from the right. That dark swath across the entire top disoriented me at first. My mind kept trying to make the image into a view out from under an overhanging cliff which distracted my eyes from the mountains below. Personal taste, but try it and see what you think

WPRESTO,

Thanks for the input.

For me, the cloud cover area, and the foreground shadow area balance each other out. But that's just. me. I will revisit the original the full frame though, now that you've mentioned it.

Thanks again.

Happy new year,
I especially liked the last image of purposely planted trees, perhaps an old orchard??
