Starting to test the Tammy 70-200 on the K-1ii. The autofocus is startlingly fast and decisive. I should try it again on the K-3ii under the same conditions -- usually with that camera I either manually focused or used contrast detect with live view and a magnifying eyepiece.

The K-3 has a quick decisive AF system, if you have a quick decisively focusing lens. All reports on this lens with the K-3 are that it is one of the fastest AF lenses out there. I was amazed how fast my K-3 was with a DA 55-300 PLM. It was never the camera, it was the lenses, and that lens is by reputation one of the best.
