Awesome double image. Was that staged or did you just happen to capture the right moment? Either way I think it is really neat.

It was at a dog show, Jabobby, I saw the phone and the dog and thought, there's a picture here, and sort of wriggled my way past some people to get to the scene. With the owner just there in the background, I changed my mind and stepped over to the right so that all three were there at different depths.

The husky looks pretty happy with himself, doesn't he? Rock star material.

I've occasionally been fooled into thinking something inanimate was alive. The thing about the vast majority of small birds, they are almost never perfectly still for more than a few seconds.

Excellent composition!

That dog certainly knows he deserves attention from the pup-arazzi.

Weather has been miserable the last couple of days.
Finally a nice cold day, good for a walk around the village.

Two images of the Mary D. Hume, the first shot with the DFA 28-105, the second, a long exposure shot, with the FA-J 75-300:

Both of those are excellent. I should not want to be asked to select the better one, but the antique look of the sepia monotone, as well as the misty rendering of the water surface in the long exposure give the second image a slightly other-worldly look that makes it particularly memorable.

Popped into my head as an afterthought. Experiment adding a little vignetting to the second image. It might enhance the impression of having been taken with an old view camera.
