Dale, love the detail from this lens and the DR from this camera. Well done with those bright and contrasting images.
Thanks, Ash.

As awesome as the large, grand falls at Silver Falls State Park are, the small unnamed ones are just as special - DFA 24-70

Cold days

Nothing compared to real nordic temperatures, but -10°C though.

Irn Bru - tastes like Schweppes Creaming Soda. Looks like Fanta.

I was thing of getting some for today on my way home, to go with my haggis to celebrate.
We've tested the Bru on some of our Aussie friends and they too replied that it was the same as Creaming Soda... well... the insult indeed! Oh puuulleeezzz.... it's so much better than Creaming Soda!

That captures a great winter-wonderland mood. I'll bet that's what you were experiencing when you snapped the image.

Amazing shots. I can see some more blur at the edge of the frame. Have you called the after sale service of the lens about de-centering issue?
Which shot are you referring to exactly? I'd don't get really over critical with my shots in terms of edge sharpness, I'm not really a landscape shooter, shooting people more often than not at wide apertures so all the edging is blurry. Even some of my landscape work is not that stopped down and has deliberate edge softness. If I was into urban and landscape more seriously I think I would be more aware of this particular issue.

I've noted that my FA77 and FA43 are both performing better at +10 Fine Adjustments also. Bought both from Pentax direct I should be able to get them to have a look at the glass I guess...

Bahahah, I thought that might be the case! I did throw up a more recent shot of those falls from the FA43 (same perspective), was concerned that was the image you were referring too!

I am enjoying some haggis tonight, with some Coopers Pale.

My first try of Irn Bru was in the conference centre in Edinburgh, a short walk from the Castle.
