K-1ii & 15-30 this evening. This is close to home as I didn't have much time to get anywhere more interesting. Nice sky tonight!

The view out of the window isn't particularly amazing.

But yesterday evening I got hooked by the light. And that's what the images tell.

You'd be surprised, the A380 is actually one of the most comfortable big airliners. Quiet, stable and while it holds a lot of passengers, the seats are wider in economy than your average Boeing 777. I generally prefer the pointy end of the planes though, and I recently have been flying around the North of Sweden. Which is exactly what made me want to upgrade to full frame... low light performance. I hope a short video is allowed here as well... very short timelapse made of 120 K-1 II + Samyang 14mm F2.8 shots. Straight RAW to JPG conversion with just a 16:9 crop and noise reduction to 20 or so in Lightroom.

Doubt I will ever get the opportunity to test that out, as the A380 is a failed program, and will be ending production when current orders are filled.

Awesome (short) video.

I too prefer the smaller aircraft, having flown a few in my day. Anything that carries hordes of people like cattle doesn't interest me, especially since they won't let me take the controls.
