Highlights of the day.
K-1 and FAJ 18-35.

That first one certainly is spooky looking.
Good eye!

That antenna is a Yagi design. It is all over every channel. First experimental demonstration of the Yagi was by the Japanese Navy in the 30s while preparing for a whole of Pacific war.

A good demonstration of the potential of the 18-35, a lens I've often wondered about, thanks. Less of a load to carry around, than the 15-30, too.

Pentax Upside Down

K-1 • DFA28-105 • ISO3200 • f/6.3 • 1/160s

Components patchworked for multi-row panoramas. L-Brackets at two different sizes, pano head and ball head, tripod. KP and DA11-18 attached upside down. No "pano-rail" for adjusting the lens "within" the no parallax point - simply forgot to arrange this, sorry.
Hehe, but just wondering... is there any reason to do this when in post processing you can flip the image upside down anyway?

+1, nice shots norm, this lens seems to have escaped me as a landscape choice when I tend to stop down to f8 or more anyway.

Good observation. You think I'd have had a reason for this.

I think it looks cool.

No, my initial idea was a simple test concerning decentering by making an "original" and an upside down captured image of the same scenery to compare them. I decided to use my patchwork setup to do it in a more precise fashion. Short story: when I realized the setup, the headline "Pentax Upside Down" came to my mind - so I had to make the image to post it here in the Pentax Forums. That's the scenery shot at 11mm and f/2.8 ...
