Hitting the dew point produced some fog on the lake while the sun was setting.

I revisited a previously posted series and chose to process one more shot, liked the reflection of those two people walking.

K-1 • FF mode • DA*11-18@18 • ISO200 • f/11 • 1/200s • C1P pp

K-1 • FF mode • DA*11-18@15 (exif 16) • ISO200 • f/11 • 1/125s • C1P pp

K-1 • FF mode • DA*11-18@18 • ISO100 • f/8 • 1/320s • C1P pp

IMO K-1 and DA*11-18 are a good combo - even in FF mode and it's very well balanced. Works from 18 to 15. Latter only w/o hood. There's vignetting that can be easily handled with in post. If sun is in the frame it can cause strong flare. So you have to avoid this kind of situation if you don't like it.

If you want an image like one with the angle of view of a 20, 21 or 24mm lens just shoot at 18 mm and crop.

Here's a table that shows the cropping dimensions to get these angles ...

| Virtural FL | width px | height px | Megapixel | APS-C equivalent

| __21mm_ |___6309 |____4210 |_____26.56 |_________14mm
| __24mm_ |___5520 |____3684 |_____20.34 |_________16mm

We have seen some heavy storms over Germany in the last few days and there is still a warning in place to avoid the forest as trees might still fall down.
When the sun came out for a few moments today I grabbed the K1 and the (ff-modified) DA* 4/60-250.
For me the lens performs fine also on full-frame - some output sharpening applied here.

Nice images. Wonderful weather here in Munich today. But also unusual wind for this region.

Color checker house

Color checker house. K1-DFA28-105. Been wandering about when I found better than my pocket-able X-Rite color checker: a house entirely covered with color tiles.

Aye but they'll need to change 'em all every two years...

I don't know why I find this so fascinating... but I have recently started to notice (More likely I'm just slow and they've always done this...) that the bumble bee's are poking a hole in the trumpet style flowers at the base to get at the nectar that normally a butterfly or humming bird with a long proboscis would only get to... Bee's are smart!

It took me a while to capture the phenomena satisfactorily enough to post, but spring has begun, the bee's have gotten right to work, and they rewarded me early this year.
