Our house ... an old farmhouse build in 1829 ... but never finished
When it was build the right-angle was not yet invented, I think

It looks spacious if nothing else. Having stayed in a few 19th century houses, I've found that they commonly have doors shorter than the typical modern height. Is it so with your home?

Yes, most of the doors are not designed for tall people. I'm 1.80 meters and did hit my head a few times ... but each door in the house is different.

Kite Weekend at the Ocean City Boardwalk. Saturday was too windy to fly kites. Today was better; albeit overcast most of the day.

Just a few K-1 images today... Mostly shot with the K-3 and 55-300 PLM, but this song sparrow was K-1 and tamron 300 with 2x TC.

A trio from me, 15-30 on the shoreline in Skye. Always interesting how moving just half a step can give a very different view in wide angle.

Glad you stepped back (and didn't trip or fall in the process). The last image, in B&W, really works for me. Says more about the rugged bleakness but beauty of Skye. We were there some years ago on tour with a science group visiting fossil localities. Unfortunately, I was recovery from my first hip surgery and consequently had to forego many of the hikes to interesting beautiful (according to M) locations. I was walking well, but if I had tripped or slipped and fell it would have been big trouble and time lost for everyone, I thought it unfair to impose that risk on them.

Ahh thanks! Skye is well worth a visit and if the weather plays ball, it's not all about rugged coastline and near vertical hiking trails. Hope you get to visit again and get some sun as well. Here's a couple from the relaxing side of Skye in the nice weather this week. Both D-FA 24-70.
