Yes! It's actually 'Eye Detection' in disguise, no seriously, it struggles with glasses and other stuff that hides the eyes. I use it almost exclusively for portrait work, please see this album below where I used it and consider some of the wide open aperture shots and how the eye is always prioritised. Highly highly underrated feature of Pentax cameras imo;

Portrait (Face Detection Only) | Flickr

Some of these shots below are using Face Detection (and some not), this is because as the festival was cosplay it would simply not work if too much accessories over the face and eyes etc.

All these shots taken with ocf, my 'running & gunning' rig.

Thanks for looking (apologies for the volume, they make a nice set though!).

I took a couple with the KP and can be seen over here >> Post Your Best KP Shots - Page 78 - PentaxForums.com

Sure. My K-S2 does too, probably my K-30 as well.

A few shots from this evenings stroll. The figure presiding over nearby road work reminded me a little of Zurbaran's cowled monks.

Jelly One, Lunch Nil

A wee something to brighten an otherwise dull day in the Highlands.

Another hour spent with the, now very, pregnant Amba & family.
Taken with my little used K50/1.2 at f1.7:

Todays pictures of tulips in Hortus Bulborum Limmen (The Netherlands) with DA* 300mm F/4.0 on K-1 (Mark I) as JPEG SOOC. BTW, it is Liberation Day in The Netherlands.

Kind regards, Ron

Also from todays visit, and using in camera JPEG (SOOC). Because it is windy a high ISO is in use during this afternoon shots. But the quality of the K-1 is still great.

Kind regards, Ron

Was at the Berlin MD Jazz and Blues & Wine and Brews Festival yesterday. I was trying to practice candid techniques but had to ask this man for a more formal shot. A mustache like that should never go un-photographed.
