huming time

Found humming birds in the blue berry patch just after a light rain. Kinda neat watching them drying off and then feeding.

Best Regards, Bob

4565 km on 2 wheels

As I have started to process pictures from my motorbike ride to England and Scotland I will probably post several over the next days.
On my way I was kindly invited by a friend to stay a night at the fantastic Stanbrook Abbey Hotel in Worchestershire. Not the typical stay for motorbikers ...
Two quick shots before breakfast.

K1 and Rokinon 1.4/35

Next I spent a day at the Lake District in typical English weather crossing the Honister Pass and Kirkstone Pass, some of the steepest roads in Europe with 25% gradient single track roads ... a wonderful ride!

I always get a laugh at how bug eyed osprey look when they turn directly at you... I have a couple I never posted because I was afraid people would think they were photo-shopped, heh.
Neat pic,
Eric

OK, That is cool. So I just had to google the old Wallensak Oscillo lenses... and came up with a lot of pricey collectibles for sale, but then I found this guy's web page...

Wollensak Oscillo Raptar 75mm f1.9 – Toby Marshall

All I can say is I hope you post some more from that beastie Dave! It looks like it ought to have a lot of fun factor when you push it hard.
