Not a motor, it is an engine.

And it is a Hemi, made by Chrysler, not Lincoln Mercury.

HD PENTAX-D FA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6ED DC AW ƒ/9.0 450.0 mm 1/800 iso400

Did I mention I love my HD FA150-450mm?? Cropped a fair bit for dramatic effect, but I mean, come on, this is a huge tele zoom, not a dedicated macro! I think this lens has a split personality. Or is it me? LOL!

Tip for when visiting Yellowstone. Get into the park early. We got into the park at about 6:30AM. Then you have between 2 and 3 hours before to most popular areas start to fill up. This is my intrepid Nissan Frontier parked at Mammoth Hot Springs at about 6:45 AM.

Exactly!

Every national park I've been to has been like this.

The parking lots, trails, and viewpoints are empty while all the average vacationers sleep in, eat breakfast, and wait to be picked up by the tour bus. There's more wildlife and less human life in the early hours. And if you hike in the Rocky Mountains, a dawn or pre-dawn start is essential for getting to the top of the mountain and then back down below tree line before the afternoon thunderstorms roll in.

Practically the only time we sent an alarm clock is for vacations.

My son opening up for a touring band coming through town last night. The band is a couple of old friends too so it was a really fun night.
This dark little theater required me to use ISO 6400 for reasonable shutter speeds and DOF. Came out pretty well IMO!

Yep, with th200 and 10" rear end. It´s going to be a cool pick-up one day . He usually builds rat rods but this one goes to his wife with a bling paint job .

Here´s Johns ´38 Chrysler:

Reminds me of a line John Wayne delivered in "The Shootist":
"Say, that's good shootin'!"
#5, especially, as you can see the depth of field in the debris. AF or MF? optical / "live"?

More from Scotland

Here are 2 shots with the K1 in APSC mode and the DA 4/15 limited.
Strangely I like this lens much better on the K1 in crop mode then I did on my K3 ...

A cottage on the island Jura (a spectacular island, hardly populated at all - probably less than 300 people living there)

In the Highlands near Laxford bridge
