Catch flip and gulp

K1ii with Sigma 120-400. Have been shooting K3. Like the ability to crop, did notice slower clic speed.

Thirsty

Level 1 water restrictions come into effect tomorrow as our dam levels are low. I have seen quite a few gardens giving their plants and flowers one last drink before they are forced to survive on their own.

For these red orange colored flowers I wish that a painted lady would have made a visit rather than the yellow swallow tail. Then maybe my photos would have been almost as cool as yours.

It wasn't that sunfish'es day, was it? Looks like he was in breeding colors too... poor fella, hope he got lucky before he became lunch at least. LOL!

From a recent visit to the historic copper mining ghost town of Swansea in western Arizona. Taken handheld with the new 50 1.4, and processed/corrected in Lightroom, Photoshop, and Luminar 3. f/16 @ 100 ISO. Shot this scene at all apertures from 1.4 and liked f/16 for this particular scene. Surprisingly little diffraction at f/16 on this lens. Love it.
