Thanks, Biz, dreamy, isn't it? All those paint splashes on the walls behind and to the side do also help distract that the colour balance is not quite right because there are polished yellow wooden floorboards underneath filling her shadows, but 5500K or whatever daylight to her right.

The next time I shot in that location I put a white sheet on the floor to even it up!

For framing / matting photographs, beside black or white, it is recommended to use a mat of a color close to the dominant colors in the photograph. Here in your photo, there is some tones in the background that pair well with the skin tone, without being spread over the whole background area. Good "pairing" or "matching" (I don't know what the appropriate English to describe duality).
