My main photography focus has been wildlife (mainly birds). Hence my draw towards an APS-C camera. I was given a manual focus 100mm macro lens for free, and I've only recently started exploring the macro world.

Here is peregrine falcon in full shade with the K-1II and the Pentax 150-450mm lens. I do like the high ISO handling of the K-1II.

I was out today retaking the shots I missed yesterday. Despite my love of shooting on the fly, sometimes you need a tripod with manual focus, Live View and the two second timer. Sometimes the short cuts just don't work.

Had some interesting activity this afternoon. The Navy's Blue Angels were practicing for this weekends air show in Ocean City, MD. They were shaking the house and rattling the windows on the close passes. Here are a couple of shots taken from my back porch.

It was very humid today as you can see by the condensation off the wings.

I sold my 100 macro for a Samyang 85 1.4, and I regret. The Samyang isn't that sharp, no AF, and now I miss the macro capability. We should have at least one macro lens.
