All photographed with Pentax K-1 and D-FA 28-105 kit.
Well done. The image with horses is my fave.

You certainly did... that's quite a spectacular couple of lightening images.
Thank you mate!! Took me about 100 x 30 second attempts to get these two. f11 @3200 iso x 28mm x 30 seconds. Was a couple of hours.

Good grief! That looks like a scene out of Independence Day. All you need is some crazy people partying on the roof holding up "welcome aliens" signs before the bolt annihilates them. (I know I know, it looks like the bolt hit way behind that building, but still...Wow.) Great catch.

LMAO!!
I actully almost deleted this one as the JPEG was just a big white blob. But the RAW files on the K1 are a dream to work with!

It was a 12 second count away. Must have been massive up close!

Rondec, very nice. I am really enjoying my DA40mm limited with the K1. Once you know its limitations and if you don't mind cropping off the vignette from time to time, it gives stunning results.
I have only used it for pics of the children at play and portraits. It is a fantastic lens for that. I don't post pics of the kids online, but will try to get some nature pics up soon from it as well.
Cheers,
TJWEST

Yes, it does have pretty bad corners wide open, but since you are stopping down for landscapes, it doesn't really matter about those as much and it is flare resistant and awfully portable...
